Type:	Electric flow-throughheater. Single-pass configuration with quick-change elements (QCE); alsoavailable as insert/immersion heater. Can be mounted vertically or horizontallyas required.
Size:	The VESTA EH series heaters range from 150mm to 400 mm shells; heating element lengths from 600 mm to 1,800 mm (overalllength 870 mm to 2,250 mm). Nozzles according to DIN 86030 or JIS 16K aretailored to customers' individual requirements.
Capacity:	The heat load ranges from 5kW to 235 kW with surface loads from 0.8 W/cm2 to 3.0 W/cm2, depending on thelimitations of the heated fluid. Any intermediate design is available from thestandard range. The EH series is designed for 180 - 690 V AC/DC; heatingelements are manufactured to suit customer specific power source. Designpressure is 16 bar(g). Design temperature is 160 C.
Materials:	Carbon steel or stainless steel (AISI 316 orbetter).
Fluids:	Lubrication oil, heavy fueloil, fresh or treated water, engine coolants.
Applications:	The VESTA EH series heat exchangers areprimarily used as booster/auxiliary oil or water heaters in ships. The flexibledesign makes them well suited for any application where backup or boosterheating is required or where electric power is the cheapest or the onlyavailable power source.
Equipment:	The shell is fitted with twoinch sockets for mounting of safety valve and drain valve. The heater isfitted with a safety thermostat and a sensor pocket at the outlet for theworking thermostat. A standard working thermostat with either step or PLCcontrol is available; also a Solid State Relay-based control panel with a Pt100temperature sensor can be supplied.
Approvals:	The VESTA EH series is approved by ABS, BV,DNV, GL, LRS.
Delivery:	Aalborg Industries candeliver any VESTA EH series heat exchanger within 2-4 weeks from receipt oforder on FCA Aalborg basis. Emergency deliveries within few days for standardtypes.
Warranty:	Aalborg Industries offers 12 monthsoperating warranty on heat exchangers; maximum warranty is 18 months from timeof delivery.
